A Calm Sunday for El Diablo Tranquilo
A late night, grey skies and rainy breeze have brought people inside to enjoy the afternoon together, entertained with board games, book swapping, chess, cards and guitars. This is one of the rare moments of the peak season when the name “Diablo Tranquilo” fits like a good shoe.
While an intense game of chess is unfolding downstairs, delicate guitar notes are slipping out from the kitchen and balcony upstairs as the band La Solea learns a new song. Our friend Mike Christopher will be making his debut as a flamenco singer alongside them at the bar tonight around 11.
Until then, the calm continues. The sun is falling, the lights are now glowing, and everyone is content. Should be a really nice night.
